Should the USA stay in the UN?
Are there others that feel as I do?
The UN has become a joke, and no longer serves the purpose for which it was formed. I suggest that we drop out .
You can be sure it will fall apart without our money!
Does anyone disagree?
The UN becomes more and more worthless every day. The new UN Secretary General is proving himself as untrustworthy as his predecessor.
Between the Oil For Food scandal, and it's giving an unreasonable amount of power to countries that are generally unimportant, one wonders why we invest so much in the organization.
Considering that the UN is located in New York, it would seem practical for us to make them look elsewhere for its headquarters. I'm sure that UN would fetch a pretty penny in the NY Real Estate market...
I think it would be a good idea. The money we put in to that and the war on terrism would pay off the national debt. Only problem i see right now with it is who are we going to piss off and will they become are emenies. I dont want to be one of those things Bush mess up again.
I think its time for a change in our attitude regarding how other countries think of us.
No matter what we do we are going to upset someone, so I say to hell with them. You can be sure that the next time their butt's are in trouble they will once again want to be our friend!!
Liking us is not important, respecting is a must.
People don't like us now so whats the difference.. We should drop out of the UN it is useless when we are the only ones who " follow the rules" anyways.
