EMI + Apple agree to allow DRM-Free music on iTunes!

In a surprising move, one of the major record labels, EMI, has reached an agreement with Apple to allow the sale of its music on iTunes WITHOUT DRM!!

At first I was sure this was a belated April Fool's joke, but it appears to be true:

This is a great victory for all those who value freedom. While it is unclear if this agreement will put pressure on the other labels to follow suit, one thing is certain: DRM is on its way out, sooner or later.
