Freedom Sampler
I have 2 suggestions for your freedom sampler.
1. Listing the included software somewhere on the main page for freedom Sampler or a link for "included programs".
2. A dvd version with more great free/open programs!!
Ideas for a possible freedom sampler games edition.. or extra for a dvd Version
Starting list of games that could be added
The Battle for Wesnoth
FrozenBubble
Freeciv
Tux Racer
Super Tux Cart
Super Tux
Of course the Licensing will need to be checked by the expert but I think these all are ok and I know they are quality games.. I will work on building this list if you have interest in this cd version or doing a dvd version
I don't think adding games to the core FreedomSampler Cd makes sense, since that's not the market it's targeted to. But I'm actually planning a children's/educational edition that they would be perfect for. The licensing looks to check out at first glance (have to confirm of course), but other than that, great finds! Sadly, Frozen Bubble doens't have a Windows port available on any of the recent versions, so that probably won't work, but the others look fine-- and even have Mac versions for the most part.
I'd never heard of SuperTux -- for some reason, I really like the idea of a Mario clone with a Linux Penguin...
Here are some more sugestions:
Lincity
GNUChess
Freeciv
FreeDOOM
FlightGear
Nexuiz
OpenArena
OpenCity
OpenTTD
PokerTH

MegaMek
Simutrans Transport Simulator
Tremulous
Vega Strike
X-Moto
Enjoy
I vote for a links repository on all of your sites, that not only have "links" but also tell people (especially those of us that support the cause but don't "understand it all" why we would go there an what is to gain from going there..
Knowledge is power, and linkages are life.

Good suggestions. I went ahead and added a list of included software to the homepage.
As for the DVD version, its an idea that I've thought about for a while, but haven't decided on yet. On one hand, it would provide the opportunity to get quite a bit more software on a single disc. Unfortunately, this comes at the price of size -- a 4gb DVD image would take hours for me to upload for each release, and at least an hour and a half for people to download.
More importantly, the whole point of the project is to create something that is easily redistributed. Since not everyone has a DVD-Rom drive, and the cost of blank DVDs is still a bit high, it wouldn't be ideal for the goals of the project.
I'm investigating other options, and will announce them once I've worked everything out.
