MP3 Players

I'll be listening to your MP3-based episode this evening while doing some mock-ups of the new 2GuysTalking Main site.

Additionally, Brian and I talked about his new iPod that he got last week on our show, and I sent you a note about the Zune that's coming out, that just put it's patent thru the US Patent office. I'll dig up that link and put that in here as well.

Something else that bears attention in general for MP3 players that aren't iPods, ie the holders, belt-based equipments and holders are just completely non-existant.

I found a cheap ($5) nice cell-phone case that does the trick for my iRiver u10.

I'll be listening to said MP3 podcast tonight and will be responding during our LunchTimeGab show tomorrow. Tony, i'll see if you can sway me away from my Ipod but I seriously doubt there is any stiff competition. Nothing is like an Ipod. NOTHING! LOL.

I pods are ok... But there are plenty of alternatives that are just as good. Tony brings up good points in his mp3 buying guide, points that all people in search of a new mp3 player should listen to.[/u]

Or you could just by a phone that can take up to 8Gigs of music!

It's a shame that I don't have access to a decent selection of Mp3-playing cell phones. It would be interesting to do a review of the differences in features between using your cell phone to play music vs. having a dedicated Mp3 player.

My phone can play mp3s We can run a test with mine - 1 drawback is that my phone does not have a standered headphone jack on it.
