I was reading this article, http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=1008362006
Which talks about how the state of VIRGINIA pardoned a woman after she was convicted of being a witch 300 years ago. What is the purpose of doing this? It's not like the woman cares anymore - She's dead! Is there nothing else for us to do than pardon dead people. and then write about it? I dont get it.

Why create your online forum post about not liking that it was done.

Same thing, dude :) You do it because you can. The only difference is that no one's going to buy your post regarding your disdain of published books about dead people being forgiven on Amazon :)
